Rapper Max B released his first song in eight years to help celebrate his 41st birthday. In his early Thursday morning “Hold On,” Harlem artist connected to his friend and collaborator, the French Montana, a track paying homage to Sade’s “Nothing Can Come Between Us.”
Since his 2011 Vigilant Saison effort, the fans have received no new music from Max, but as the year continues, it seems as if there will be more to come. “I spoke of getting Max B home from prison,” he explained. Because she’s doing everything, like reaching it out to her, so I felt like doing it.
After being found culpable of the nine counts of murder conspiracy and robbery, the rapper is held at the East Jersey State Prison since 2009. He was imprisoned for seventy-five years. According to authorities, Max ordered his ex-friend and step-brother to rob two men in a hotel in New Jersey. One man in the room was embusted and contained a tape as the thieves waited for the man’s partner to come back. When it did it, the execution style in the head was reportedly shot. Max and his ex-friend were all detained and indicted a week later.
